1. What do you think about this project and photo essay?
This project seems really interesting to me being able to touch other people but kind of akward because we dont know them and we might feel a little uncomftorable.

2. What would you do if someone approached you with a camera and asked you to participate in a photo shoot and then asked you to touch a stranger?
If someone approached me with a camera and asked me to participate in a photo shoot and then aske me to touch a stranger i would kind of feel weird but depending who that person is i would probably do it.


3. Think of an unusual photo shoot similar to this one that you think would be fun to go and shoot.
Hugging strangers making it seem like you really know them well and care about them.

4. Finally, tell me what you thought of the photography, did the photographer think about the rules of photography that you know about? What types of photos did he take?  I think the photographer did a good job he actually used many of the rules and focused in the people bbeing shoot. He took simplicity , patter in the background , lines .

1. Describe one photo that you agree with the judges on. Explain why you and the judges do or do not like it.
I agree with the picture of where the girl gets slap by a goose its like a thing that doesnt really happen and by just looking at the image it show alot of feeling. It seems like it really hurted. Like BAMB !

2. Describe one photo that you do NOT agree with the judges on. Explain why you think the judges are wrong.
With a picture i disagree on with the judges is the one of the soccer players were on of them is putting their finger in the other ones face close to his eye. i really dont like it because it should mainly focuse on the guy getting fingers put in his face they should like focuse it more on him and then ill be a better picture for me.

What did the judges note as strengths as they were critiquing it?

What do you see as strengths? Do you see any weaknesses?
That it looks organized like theirs a pattern and that in the image everone is actually doing somethings , like they have a different emotion or feelin toward things.Creativity and able to focuse in one main subject evenwhen having alot of things or people in it.

A weakness is being able to tell you used alot of photoshop in your image.

Briefly describe the process the judges went through in deciding the winner.

They will disiliminate the one that had alot of bad pictres and that made no sence.

General focus of portfolio (photoj, sports, stories, etc.)- She focuses in stories and peoples face expressions.
List three problems that the judges note with the portfolio - In some pictures you didnt really know what was going on, in one their was a cut off that didnt make sence ,same distance and not alot of focused on te feelins .
List two thingsthe judges like- The background it had in one of the pictures it really went with the picture , their was a story. Theirs some good cut off that actually goes good with the picture.

What is your overall impression? What did you like or not like?

I think she could of done better in focusing more in the expressions . I think by using distance a little bit better it would of help tell the emotion of the images and what is going on in it.But i really like that in one of the pictures she used a great backround for the picture and for what was going on in it. She used dark colors that went really good with it.

warm-up

This is one of the pictures of the disastr thatreally captured my attention becuase it has little kids in it. For me when it involves kids its really sad because their really young and how can they be going through that so young. It hurts seeing these poor little kids like this.They had to check these lkids to see they didnt have nothing.They had just gotten saved from the disaster.

This image really toughed me because i hate seeing people cry or sad it hurts my feelings and makes me feel bad and wonder if theirs anything i could do to help them. This lady was crying after finding out her mother was safely safe and tooken.She was okhay so these tears were of joy  because her mom was saved from this horrible disaster.

This lady was being rescuded from the terrible disaster and its trmendous disaster it created. She seemed to been really hurt , she probably couldnt walk because the firefighters were having to carry her .She was probably really injured.
